Cosmographics has joined with PlanetObserver, looking after
sales and distribution primarily in the UK of Terra Cognita,
a high resolution database of global satellite images that cover
the whole world.
PlanetObserver
specialises in the creation of high resolution global satellite images
in true natural colours acquiring raw data at 15 and 30 metres
and now holding over 8600 scenes covering the whole world.
After Geo-rectification, the data is treated to obtain natural
and real coloured images. From this database of global satellite images, Cosmographics (UK) is able to
supply the following:
- The entire World at 15meter / pixel
(approx 1:80,000 scale)
- World Digital Elevation Model at 90 metres / pixel
- Scenes of main cities around the world at 2.5 metre /
pixel (Spot imagery) are also available

and updating, flexibility to meet client’s requirements
